Start of Scrum Week
For the VDAB training as PHP developer, the scrum week started today. Two groups were formed, one of 3 and one of 4 people.
The goal is to create a FlexDating app within this week. This will be done by largely using existing code that fetches users from another server. These responses are then used to create the front-end of a website.
To get a feel for the whole group, we decided to give pair programming a chance today. This is to map out the weaknesses and strengths of all team members.
Today we broadly discussed how we would approach the project. A few points that came up: how we would divide the work, what technologies we would use, and how we would handle communication.
We also agreed to try pair programming for the first time. This should help us understand each other's working styles better.
The week ahead will be intense, but also very educational. Let's see what we can achieve together!
